Maximum use of ssn


Hi all, I have got this problem with my map, when I extract it, it says that I am over the 1200 buildings and decorations. When I play the map I can see that the game automaticly deletes objects to make the map playable. I don't have any lag, the map is by far not finished. Any suggestions and Ideas? Plz comment

The depressingly obvious answer: reduce the number of items in the map.

If it's a single player map: divide it into two missions.

That 1200 buildings and decorations limit isn't the only item limit, either. Sometimes, people and vehicles are lumped together, the maximum number of markers is 768, and the maximum number of tiles allowable is the total number of items in the map subtracted from 6144.

I'm not aware of there being any dfbhd.exe modifications that allow more items to be in a single map, either. I know that the TIOCoop and NSO mods come with an enhanced version of the dfbhd.exe that allows the items.def to include more items that the game can access, but I don't believe that special version of the dfbhd.exe allows more items in a .bms.
