Map Description:

Rebel forces have taken over a small town. Take out the Comm. Center, Destroy the Weapon Crates, Find and hold the Intel Docs and reach the final Waypoint. Plays better as a single player map, the AI seem pretty lame, don't know why. Tried making a Bin file, failed miserably, also, certain wav files won't trigger, if anyone could tell me why, I'd appreciate it, wasted alot of time trying to figure it out. Oh well, enough whining, I hope you enjoy the map, have fun.

The layout, decorations, etc. in this map are really good. Much better than 90% of the maps out there. The idea of the mission is good, too. As for the AI's being "LAME" they are anything but. After failing to get past the main street in numerous attempts I'd about figured all the AI accuracy's were set to 100%. A look at the map proved me correct. I and several other map raters have harped about the Enemy AI's accuracys set too high for the average map player to complete the mission. Sure, you, the map MAKER know where the enemies are located so you don't have any trouble completeing the mission. But for anyone who hasn't played your map, they are going to get darned frustrated when they get killed two dozen times and they haven't even gotten halfway through the mission, so they'll just say "screw it" and trash the map from their database. Set your AI accuracies to about 55/66 or 66/77 and the map will play better. Also, there wasn't a Ammo or Med pack power up anywhere. I know there were several Armories, but that ain't the same. As for the Bin file, its really easy. Just read the Forums and DLoad the Bin Tools. Use an old Bin Text file and change it up for your map. Don't forget to save it to the EXACT SAME FILE NAME as your map. Use the Bin Tool "Text to Bin" to convert it and you're in business. Since I didn't get too far in the mission to see if your Wave files and stuff all played, I don't know what the problem would be there. But on the PLUS side, I really liked your map decorations and stuff... VERY good. This could be a great map with better Enemy AI settings, some Med packs, a nice BIN file to show Mission Objectives when you press the "TAB" key, and more sounds and less "Text Messages." I've found map players miss a lot of those Text messages. If you REALLY want to grab their attention, make some custom wave files. 7/10 from me, even though I couldn't finish the mission, I really like the way the map is laid out.

Thanks for the comments and trying my map, I've updated the .bms, changed AI accuracy and added power ups. Take out the RPGs with a sniper weapon then beat feet. I had my son test the map before I submitted it, I felt that he got thru it to quickly, (he's very good at DF games) so I turned the AI accuracy way up, My Bad! I've played your maps many times and consider you one helluva map maker,so I really do appreciate your comments. Thanks

This is on the original, have not tried the updated yet. Very good and very Hard going on foot," take the humvee". destroyed every thing and made it to last WP but could not get through gate to Intel doc's(I assume they are in that part of the tunnel) the gate would not open.so i didn't get an ending.VERY GOOD! the wac appeared to work ok.

Thanks for trying my map and the nice comments, Once you have completed the other subgoals the gate will vaporize, you need to destroy all the crates in the tunnels, while testing I found that one small weapons crate was still intact, that might have been the problem. I will download the bms file and see if I have the same problem, and then make needed adjustments, Thanks again!

Completed the updated version, works fine to me! And thanks for the Med Packs. I give it an 8/10, for trash pile floating in radio room,RPG guy respawning on roof of radio bldg. and being indestuctable. Enjoyed it though!

Ok, I played your map on a server..you could add something to the way to the chopper..and the mission didnt end. I dont know, why..we gathered the intel and destroyed everything...you should add some waypoints, so players would know, where to go and what to do...
People just usually set satchels instead of destroxing the object, which triggers the "opening"of the doors (BUM!)...and some things can be forgoten since some ppl dont check everything...can think , if youre under fire...
