Map Description:

Part 3 of 3 "You're Welcome" for IC3 Mod or later. Someone sold us out, and some of our guys were captured. They are in a heavily fortified compound owned by one of the big drug lords. You will need to find a way inside, find out who betrayed us by accessing the cartel's computer network and get our guys out of there. Eliminate Cortez and Escobedo. Don't expect any official support on this one. Recommended for 1-4 players. This completes the trilogy, hope you enjoy, please comment.

Is it me or does the Helo fly to low and get stuck on the exfil BLDG. The first time I played it the front end of the Helo got stuck just as it was coming in. It worked it's self free and then just hovered. It then ended properly. The 2nd time it got completely turned around and flew away. It then came back from a different direction and crashed. I loved the MAP it was great, just wondering if anyone else had this same problem?

helo crash

Helo did the same with us except after hitting building it blew up and the game wouldn't end..first two maps played and ended just fine..We might give it another try and see if it happens again...Other the above mentionrd the map was pretty D_ _ _ _ good

ROGER THAT!!!

Yeah, I went back at it again a 3rd time and it is still the same. Map Maker just has to adjust the heighth, maybe a short hover before coming over the top of the building and then a nice easy glide into the trigger area might help. GREAT MAP all and all though.

Sorry to hear you guys are having probs, it's weird 'cos I played this map over and over the only time the helo has crashed if there were some bgs left over on the ground and they shot at it. I will try and take a look though. J

Helo prob.....

I did have the same problem but as soon as it got stuck on the edge of the building I shot at it and it seemed to fly away and return again and landed safely. The map maker should adjust the height of the way point higher a bit and I think things would work fine.

My squadmate and I played the map the series of maps, while we both believe that there is some good thoughts in the map, it is just way too slow of action for us and others on the squad. There is just too much ground to cover and not enough action on the map to hold our interest long. While we do applaud your efforts on your map making ability, maybe seeing some explosiveness of some intense action would really liven it up.

Escobedo runs to a car and gets in and drives in a straight line...you can get him before he gets in the car, if not just chase him, look for the dust from the car. Enjoy

good Job

Rescued the men, heli hit the building and turned around...hasn't come back. Didn't get any messages saying I killed Cortes or Escobodo. Don't see anyone else here... Do I kill them first, or do they come after the heli picks up the guys, or what?

Black Hawk also got stuck on the fire escape...

...when we played this map, but it eventually worked itself free and hovered above the rescued comrades. I went looking for the two targets, but couldn't find them until I heard shooting atop the exfil building where I had just been. I made it back to the top of the building and took-out Cortez; thus, receiving the message that Escobedo had escaped and was heading north. Since he took-off quickly in the car, I had to chased him down. I was able to overtake him (pass his car), and I then stopped and shot him out of his car. The map ended and cycled just fine. As with all of your other maps, as well as Parts 1 & 2 of this series, great storyline, nice player interaction, and a challenging and lag-free map. Like the others here, I too cannot wait until you've released Part 4...and even more. Nice job JobiWan...cheers.
