***_Operation Just Cause_***
December 20, 1989, 0100 local time.
Panama City, Panama
Situation:
Operation Just Cause was the U.S. military invasion of Panama which deposed Manuel
Noriega in December 1989, during the administration of U.S. President George H. W. Bush.
Just Cause D-Day and H-Hour was December 20, 1989, 0100 local time. Following over a year of diplomatic tension between the United States and Panama and several months of U.S. troop buildup in military bases within the canal zone, involving twenty-four thousand U.S. troops and over three hundred aircraft, including the F-117A stealth aircraft used for the first time in combat. These forces were deployed against the sixteen thousand members of the Panama Defense Force. The command and control structure of the Panamanian Defense Force was quickly destroyed; senior officers were killed or captured and in some instances, officers abandoned their command. The attack touched off several fires one of which destroyed much of the Chorillo neighborhood, adjacent to the headquarters of the Panamania Defense Forces, located in downtown Panama City.
Military operations continued for several days targeting decentralized resistance by isolated PDF units, attempting to restore law and order and searching for Noriega. Noriega turned up in the Vatican Diplomatic Mission and eventually surrendered.
Mission:

Don't forget to read the Text file, and add the /d.
An intensive and realistic UrbanWarfare map, with good decoration, and look like an Irene map.
Enjoy it.

I've just finished your mission, and I have to say that it was AMAZING! It just felt so real, alive. You surely know how to create an almost life-like atmosphere. Decorations - like in your previous missions - were awesome. Very intense close quarter combat with a lot of events & people, its challenging but not impossible. I also liked it how you placed the rangers on Black Hawks hanging their feet out of the aircraft - its a minor thing, but it looked damn good, and I've never seen it in other maps! Events + WAC worked pefectly, so all in all a 10/10 from me! Well done!

I usually don't comment on maps until i finish the map, but i was compelled to say the following: you did a superb job and had excellent attention to detail. However, one thing keeps bothering me: it feels a hell lot like a Oct 3rd Irene Mogadishu map. You even have used wavs from the BHD movie, and the part blackburn fell out was ingenius. I think you should have just made this excellent mission a Irene mission. For me, it doesn't really feel like panama at all, but a super realistic Irene map. Of course, as i said earlier, i'm not done playing the map and i will not rate until i have done so and after i have checked out the update as Joselz has requested. But excellent work. I will comment again soon.

Once again Joselz has taken the time and effort to construct a map that gives you the feeling of 'being there'. Highly and appropriately decorated with good use of sound, wac files, AIs (friendly and enemy and including those pesky civilians who like stepping in front of bullets). This map was well planned and executes flawlessly. Yes it looks like another version of Irene but that's pretty hard to avoid. Limited available decorations make everything look the same. Tried and true tactics (roping in at corners) will be used at every opportunity so they will be used in Panama as much as Somalia. A very good map that you will want to keep. Imaginative use of events and available resources from crowded firing positions to smoke and the confusion of battle. A determined enemy who recognizes the threat you pose and will try to kill you from a distance. The only thing I could find 'wrong' in this map is that it had to end! But I'm certainly looking forward to it's conclusion. Another fine mini-series in the making. 10/10

Ok, i finished playing the second ver. of the map. And i must say, this is a super good map!!! This map is loaded with action and events and the custom wacs are awesome. I liked how the little birds made their strafing runs with the miniguns and rockets while the blackhawks circled overhead spitting lead with their miniguns. The enemy was very well positioned on the roofs and weaved in and out of the street (very realistic and practical) to avoid being hit. The friendly AI were also well positioned instead of standing in the middle of the street, so that's a very big plus. The feel of the mission was very realistic, and if this was to an Irene mission, it would have been one of the best out there. A long mission, but one that doesn't get boring at all. Full of action, detail, and good use of wac. This is definitely a 10/10 map.

But as everyone else has said, it feels like an Irene mission....the movie version though. You really did great on the decour and the feeling of the area though, and great job on that m8. Damn good job, it wouldn't surprise me if you were the guy to make a map pack based on the BHD movie, cause you sure would do a damn great job! 10/10 from me, Keep'em up!

I guess I'm the only one out there who did not like this map. I hardly had to use my trigger finger...the team-mates did it all for me. I played this map for over and hour and the enemies just kept re-spawning and re-spawning so I got tired of it and I didn't play it to the end. The decorations were outstanding, I'll have to say that. But I don't care for super-intense missions that never seem to go anywhere. I won't rate it because all my buddies out there have already gave it a TEN, so I guess they know something I don't. I just don't like missions where all you have to do is stand around and shoot. No adventure to me.

Jose this map is freakin kool. The decor is just right, gameplay is always intense, and you kill like 200 baddies! Dude you must be an expert, because you even some how managed to have audio clips from the movie! The music and regular dialougue is sweet too, very cool man. You should work for Nova, and make the single player missions even kooler. 2nd map I downloaded, and very impressed. I'd give it a 12/10, but thats no possible lol.

The decorations on this map were excellent. I liked how you setup the allies in defensive perimeters and where the AI were placed. The strafing runs with the quake effect and rockets were a nice touch. The only problem I had was that the firefights lasted too long when you had to assist the chalk rangers. I really didn't have to do anything because my allies did all of the work for me.

You sure put a lot of work into it. It seems like the action never lets up.
