Map Description:
This is a fairly long map and takes several players. You start off on an oil rig and have to storm a nearby beach. After you punch a hole through the defense you will push your way through a series of small bases until you finally reach the weapons storage area.
I have updated the zip.... it didn't have the wac or .bin file the first time... that is why the AI weren't doing much and game info was not there... this is all fixed now

...if you're somewhat fond of shooting foliage (AI fully capable of seeing/shooting the player from the opposite side of bushes at a distance), as well as human-seeking stinger/javelin dudes who will 'take you' out when you're simply 'on foot'...lol. Although there were some respawners, their use was limited and not overutlized throughout the map. Also, kudos for not utilizing those 'one second reload' rockeeters which some mappers have begun inserting lately. The majority of the beachhead AI could be easily eliminated with some well-placed sniper fire from a 'wave runner' stopped out at sea. Also, the majority of the helos were easily destroyed from the 'X' platform, but the battleship was a little tougher to eliminate. Although I too would recommend this map for squad-play, it is single-player doable, as I played it alone via LAN and all went well. All targets were well marked and easily destroyed, and all PSP take-overs went without issue, as this map was pretty much straightforward. This 'lag free' map ended/cycled just fine upon the elimination of both commanders...which just happened to be standing next to each other. I'd suggest placing one of the commanders elsewhere so that the player(s) would be forced to conduct an additional search for him as well. Nice map layout, as it looked good and there was some action between each PSP. Nice job for your first map 'Spalding', so keep-up the good work...cheers.

First time I played this I actually reset it but left it in the line up for later in the evening when others would be on. 2nd time around I actually had a blast playing this map. Even though I could not see the hills on this terrain I plunged on as usual.
2nd time around I got the boat by chasing it down with the miniguns on the jetski and had the rest of us all shoot the beach head with their own defense, lol. Have some members bring stingers for those helos that will attack you when you take over the boat. Suggestion was a good one Spalding;). Then when we got to A psp I and Armored took the helo and took turns as gunners and pilots and managed to get through the entire map with only a few major mishaps. (Expensive helos to lose all the time, lol.) This map was great fun once you get the idea and work it right. Forget it if you really want to be alone. I bet you would spend almost most of the day on this one.
So Spalding thanks for adding something different that really made teamwork fun. Those that took off last night missed a good map after all. Prinny

for the nice comments Sgt.Saunders and Princess.
Has anyone else had a problem with the hilltops glitching out and seeing water?
