Map Description:
You are to be inserted by Black Hawk helicopter at the small village of Nuangu.
You will be met by a local member of the alliance. He will lead you to an
alliance boat. They will take you downriver to a landing. From there you
must find and destroy a small enemy radio station. After the Radio Station
is destroyed, the plan is for the boat to take you back to Nuangu for
extract by chopper. However, as always, all plans could change during
the mission.
It is important during playing this mission that you maintain a
lot of patience. You'll find long periods of travel and walking
mingled with brief skirmishes and long battles with the enemy.
(If you do not enjoy this type of gameplay, I suggest you not
play this map.)
It is strongly advised you read the "Read Me First" document that comes with the map. There are special instructions and hints which you will need to know before attempting this map.
well decorated, lots going on, extensive mission, there were only a few problems with it that prevent me from giving it a 10. 1) a large amount of enemies have poor AI, chargeing at me for a long time before shooting. at one point i have about 30 following the boat but not shooting. 2) there are numerous trees in the roads (not that big a problem) 3) It may be too long for its own good, lol. I swear i used up all my save games before the shipyard! I finally made it to the BH and then some AA gun far beyond the fog shot me down. I give it a 8/10. You'll also find i'm gunna be one of the patient people playing this map

This is a very very very lonnngggg map. You did extremely well in making this map, but i have noticed that all of your recent maps are very well,... cloudy. Thus, the name "Bad Weather" of the map is very fitting. I was wondering if your next map could be on a sunny day as it used to be. Anyway, it's great map. Map makers like you keep the game alive, so cheers, and keep up the great work.

As Dave says in the map description, be patient, expect periods of little activity then KILL 'EM ALL! Great use of sound and lightening/thunder. I especially liked the continuous rain sounds that made it feel more like a typical jungle in the rainy season. Lots of good help along the way from sympathetic locals. Well placed and much need power-ups. Good use of objects, AI's and vegetation. Always something to do and a fun map. Only complaint (and is a game fault not the map maker!) if you get off the truck - do it on level ground or you'll have more than enough trouble getting back on. First map I've seen using that particular terrain. Lots of careful planning need to make sure it all works. I never could see that darned plane though. Overall - a map that is fun, takes some skill to complete, look good when playing it and leaves you feeling like you've accomplished something.

This is Mr. Snow’s finest work. I don’t know where to begin with, but I’ve been playing it for about 8 hours straight and finally have finished it, not to mention several hours Friday night and last Friday. Total time to finish was 1:38 according to my last save point, which was when the helo came in to get me out of the LZ. The terrain in this map is outstanding, along with the novel ideas. One of the best features is having the truck stop whenever you get out of it. I haven’t played any maps with that feature yet. This afforded me the opportunity to get out and snoop around…..The weather effects were great as well-plenty of lightning and thunder, plus the rain drops falling….Good use of snipers—they were a problem in some places to hunt down because of the high vegetation and that made the map very interesting. The initial river ride was good—since I was killed several times I was able to see all of the details added to this map. Another feature is the lack of WPs to follow. With this map you have to follow the road and signs, plus do a little hunting around. I found myself running around in circles until I was able to get oriented again…..Ample save points and med packs….Plenty of detail as usual with Snow maps. I almost hated blowing up the SAM site because it looked so detailed…..The occasional tank rolling around added to the excitement…I didn’t encounter any issues with events working and the WACs seemed to be flawless in my opinion. If you start this map plan on spending several hours completing it…..10/10.
