Cool concept. Take care of the 'floaties' on this map. I like how the civie truck stops and the squadmember checks it out. If you keep the squad unharmed, you're fine. If one goes down, you have trouble from north and south! I think with a little more reworking, you have an excellent 'short' tour in Hati. No definite ending though. Possibly after defending, having the player sweep and clear the area of remaining rebels terrorizing the civilians? Or add a buttload more rebels and have the player man the .50 cal for a good old-fashioned turkey shoot? As I said, cool concept and a good start. I look forward to seeing an updated version.

Just played this map and thought it was very well thought out! The area gives you the feel of a city as the cars driving around. And then when they attack you get that panicky feeling and want to run away. Took me a few goes to actually survive to the end with all the rpg's and friendlys everywhere. The only really bad things i found were the ending it just ended nothing really happened at the end and the med-evac dont know if it was just me but the people got stuck in the bird and never actually got out. Anway nice SP gj! 8/10

» A Really nice Map

A very short map that left me wanting to do more in the mission. A really good layout with good use of decorations, tiles etc. Nice touch with the clothes across the street. And, as was already said - the marine checking the vehicle. Due to limitations of available sound files, some of the speech didn't sound quit appropriate. Example - warning for last chance shooting civilians when nothing had been done yet. 2 technical things to fix. Building across street at back must be 30 feet off the ground. And a pet peeve of mine - the fence across the street needs end posts. Fences don't just dissapear into buildings. A good short map with plenty of accurate enemy that keep the action going. I enjoyed this and look forward to part 2 (maybe combine them for longer map?). 7/10

I know that The medics never go out of the helo because i dind't know how to do med evac, but now i know and i would do the update maybe today...adding more enemys and enemy vehicles with .50cal and fix the fence. i also like the part that i make when the truck stop to be checked. about the wac i didn't find a voice saying quit apropiatly "don't shoot at civilians", I just find the voice that say warning for last chance shooting civilians when nothing had been done yet........i would take again another look at the wav list and find an apropiate wav. i would try to put some music. About the end, I dont have an idea of how to make a good end.... about part 2 i just start yesterday after i put part 1 on dfbarracks....coming out maybe next wekend..

You are correct in your readme file - this is a hard map. OK - the fence and building have been corrected. I really like the addition of the truck and ammo at the road block - maybe though you should limit the weapons to match loadout options at the start as all the TS weapons were available. Medivac works just fine. More enemy and boy - do they shoot straight! Nice touch with the technicals. Just a suggestion for the enemy behind buildings across the street - you should use teleports and have them completely out of sight - otherwise someone checking out the scenery (like me) can see them and kill a whole bunch of them before they are supposed to be in the game. Wac sounds better as well. Ending was kind of sudden with no speech from command or anything. I enjoyed this map no matter how many times I got killed. Good job. - P.S. If part 2 is like this, they would make a really good combined (longer) map.

I played the map before the update and after. I liked the member of the sqad that inspected that truck at the checkpoint. The armory was good (though you should have limited the weapon choices to that the loadout of the beggining of the map). I found the map eaiser to beat after i used a M21 or PSG-1. The technicals were a good addition to the enemy force. I liked how the enemies blended in with the civilians, thus making it more challenging. Too bad there wasn't a defenite ending and it would have been cool if you had a blackhawk that provided fire support or something like that. Nice map, looking forward to Pt. 2
