Map Description:

V 2.0 - Fix the Problem with the Mission area, Waypionts are more easy to read it. I ADD More enemys, and also Somes little surprise, Better use Of the .WAC file. I Try to reduce Video lag.
V 1.0 - Original release

***Irene - Nelson & Twomery Part 2***

October 3rd, 1993 - 1535 hours.
Mogadishu, Somalia

Situation:
Nelson is deaf Now, But you and him most continue to the crash.

Operation:
You(Twomery) and Nelson, Most move to crash site.
You and nelson must meet "Juric", He also get left behind.

NOTES: To play this map you must Change the " FORMAT " of the .WAV fileS including in this ZIP file.
The current Format is " MPEG Layer-3 ". You has to open it with the "Sound Record" program and Change the Format to " PCM " and the Cuality that you want, then saved.
Do this for each .Wav, or the map will not work(may get a error message). Please Dont get mad or furuis for doing this, it only would take you LESS than 5 munites.
I put the .WAV in this format to FIT in the Zip file. If you don't know how to do this, Contact me Via U2U.
YOU HAVE to ADD /s /d at the end of the target box of you BHD icon or the WAC file will not work and the loading screen may not appear, it should look like this:
"x:\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\dfbhd.exe" /s /d

As for Part 1 of this small series, this is a very good map. It plays well and follows the first easily. Good use of decorations, buildings, layout, sound, tiles and enemy AI. Enemy in many cases are cleverly hidden amongst the civilians who seemingly can't wait to get shot. Always something interesting to look at and a couple of nice surprises. You have to be on your toes for this one. Don't get target fixation. This map plays well and ended leaving me looking forward to Part 3. Once again, no difficulty converting the wave files for use. Joselz - you may want to consider using a different program for recording that allows you to record at the proper setting (I use Total Recorder - www.highcriteria.com - and it works just fine). The only problem I have is (similar to Part 1) the use of mission areas. Again sometimes all it takes is a step or two in the wrong direction and you find yourself reloading the game. As a movement control device, mission areas are great when used properly. Give the player a warning he has left the mission area and a time that he must return. "ie: You have left the mission area. If you do not return within 10 seconds the world will end" or something along those lines. You shouldn't lose the game because you walked out into the centre of a street that you're already walking on. The way it plays now, you MUST stay in certain areas giving a serious advantage to the enemy. With that fixed, this map is easily a 9 but I won't rate it until that gets fixed.

OK, i will fix those problem with the mission area....Another thing, i Record the voices and edit it to the lowest quality, So it can fit the Zip file. But for part3 i would use the Total Recorder - www.highcriteria.com. The update may be ready for next weekend.... thanks..........joselz

Again - an improvement on the original. The mission areas have been made more playable, though now the player has more room to manouver you might want to check to ensure all area triggers are still big enough. A hint for future maps, If you are asking everyone who downloads your map to use a windows program to change the wave file format - it may be easier for ONE person to do that (you) before they are put in the zip file. On a personal note I found the use of the jungle noises EVERY time a bad guy was killed to be a bit annoying after a while. Perhaps a case where less is better. A very good map and I'm still looking forward to Part III. 9/10
